What we offer
Kingdom Nations Care offers group programs tailored to diverse interests, consistently introducing fresh activities. Our programs maintain a one-to-three ratio, providing choices for both centre-based and community-based engagements.The primary goal of group and centre-based supports is to offer NDIS participants opportunities for increased socialisation and active involvement in the local community.
How we help
Facing challenges can be overwhelming for individuals. We are here to tackle barriers that may impede your community involvement. Our innovative approach to community participation is centred around identifying challenges related to your goals. We create personalised plans with input from our community engagement coordinators to guide you. Allow us to assist you in building friendships and support networks in a comfortable and inclusive environment. Our supports and how we can help inlcude:
- Spontaneous formation of a network of friends and peers.
- Enhanced familiarity with your community and its opportunities.
- Exploration of new interests and acquisition of new skills.
- Boosted self-esteem and a sense of belonging.
- Active participation in education and employment.
- Improved ability to live independently.
We facilitate the development of social skills across various life stages, promoting independence. Our offerings include diverse opportunities, such as coaching, to empower individuals in overcoming obstacles and fostering positive transformations in self-perception and relationships.
Services that are covered under NDIS if it is deemed Reasonable and Necessary:
The NDIS might fund:
- Support for personal daily activities and household tasks
- Transport to enable someone to participate in the community, social activities, work or education
- Help for someone to get and keep a job
- Development of a behaviour support plan
Services that cannot be covered under NDIS:
Under the law for NDIS there are things they cannot fund or provide. They cannot fund or provide supports that:
- Are not legal
- Are income replacement
- Are likely to cause harm to you or pose risk to other people
- Are not related to your disability
- Relate to a day-to-day living cost, such as groceries rent or utilities that are not attributable to your disability support needs
- Duplicate other supports provided by the NDIS
